Sonus Music Stand
As I designed this sonus music stand I imagined myself playing the guitar in front of a book of sheet music. I wanted to be able to just look at the well-lit music and for everything else to disappear.
The ultra-light post terminates into a lamp in a natural form inspired by the Jack-in-the-pulpit flowers that grow in our mountains here. The light can be powered by the battery housed in the heavy base, or by a direct electric outlet using the removable cord supplied.
The music tray adjusts easily to whatever angle you wish and can position anywhere up or down the post. Because of the nearly infinite adjustments on this piece it also serves as an end table with a reading lamp to use in the living room.
