With your comfort in mind, Brian Boggs designed this upholstered chair to support you exactly where and how you need support. Luxurious and light, the simple lines of the Herron chair pair well with traditional, modern or contemporary interiors. Suitable for the dining room as well as living room lounging, this comfortable chair serves elegance wherever it lands.

Herron emerged as Brian noted that upholstery provided a necessary service in a room with mostly hard surfaces. While its primary function is sound absorption, upholstery also serves to add textures and colors to the room.

Over the past thirty-eight years, Brian has used carved, steam-bent and laminated curves to fit wooden chairs to our human bodies. His extensive knowledge of ergonomics assisted him as he created the most comfortable wooden chairs we’ve experienced. Brian approached this upholstered chair using those same lessons.

A solid curved structure backs up this padded seat which we cover with specially selected fabrics picked to complement your choice of wood species. (Of course, you may pick your own fabric if you wish.) We can make the Herron chair with or without arms and in custom widths, if needed. Additionally, future offerings will include an ottoman to assist your complete relaxation while lounging in the living room.

The beauty and strength of this chair cannot be overestimated. With this foray into upholstered chairs, Brian Boggs proves his mastery of the form once again.
