With the most comfortable seat we’ve ever experienced in a wooden chair, the Cio side chair curls itself around your body. Brian combined cutting-edge and traditional techniques to create a chair that conforms to your thoracic and lumbar curves in three directions while offering a seat with a pocket for the buttocks, lifting the thighs to keep pressure off the sit bones.
To create a buoyancy similar to an upholstered chair, he used super straight grain to slim the legs to a dimension that springs in use.
Enjoy your most comfortable and beautiful sitting experience ever in this innovative, lightweight side chair.

At Brian Boggs Chairmakers, we pay acute attention to every detail while designing and building your special pieces and are committed to the same level of consideration when transporting them safely home to you.
To fulfill that commitment, we have partnered with several quality delivery services that are dedicated to the care of your shipments. These companies often coordinate deliveries which can sometimes add weeks to the shipping date, but we feel it is well worth the extra care they provide.
Wherever possible, we recommend white glove delivery. This service blanket-wraps your pieces here at our shop and delivers them ready to use inside your home. White glove provides the best protection with the smallest environmental footprint. It also eliminates your burden of packing material disposal.
For smaller pieces, we use FedEx. We act as your shipping proxy, handling all pricing and scheduling pick-up and delivery of your items.
The cost of delivery will depend on the pieces to be shipped and their final destination. This cost will be included on your final invoice; of which payment is required before your package departs. A tracking number is emailed to you via FedEx at that time.
